Chortkiv (Ukrainian - Чортків; Polish - Czortków; Yiddish - טשאָרטקאָוו‬‎) is a city and the administrative center of the Chortkiv Raion (district) in the Ternopil Oblast (province) of Ukraine.
Population: 29,057 (2018).
Founded in 1522.
